  1. Under this item, the Conference will discuss dialogue among civilisations and such issues as the role of culture in international cooperation and coexistence; ways of promoting international cultural exchanges; and the preservation of cultural diversity and social pluralism in a globalised world.
Item 6 Support of parliaments for the rights of refugees and persons displaced by war and occupation, and assistance with a view to their repatriation, and for international cooperation to develop and implement strategies to combat the criminal activity of people-smuggling

Procedure to be followed :

Under the terms of the provisions of Conference Rule 11, any request for the inclusion of a supplementary item must receive a two-thirds majority of the votes cast in order to be accepted. When several requests are taken into consideration, only the one having received both the requisite majority and the largest number of positive votes will be accepted.
