SUPPORT FOR THE MIDDLE EAST PEACE PROCESS

Declaration adopted without a vote by the 90th Inter-Parliamentary Conference
(Canberra, 18 September 1993)

The 90th Inter-Parliamentary Conference,

Recognizing the extraordinary significance of the accords signed in Washington on 13 September 1993 between representatives of the State of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization,

1. Expresses its whole-hearted support for these accords;

2. Urges all parties to continue their efforts and initiatives to seek a full, just and lasting peace for all the peoples in the Middle East.
