Event of the month
Parliamentary Conference on the WTO
"We cannot conclude this Doha Round without your explicit support" said WTO Director-General Pascal Lamy to parliamentarians from around the world attending the 2011 session of the annual Parliamentary Conference on the Conference Poster World Trade Organization which took place in Geneva on 21 and 22 March. The Conference is a product of the collaborative efforts of the IPU and the European Parliament.   It serves as a de facto parliamentary dimension of the WTO, enhancing its transparency and accountability.    [ Full story ... ]
