Note on the composition of the Legislative Parliament:
At the time of the dissolution of the National Assembly on 15 January 2007, there were 18 sitting members, including three members appointed by the King. The 15 non-appointed members have been integrated in the Legislative Parliament together with the 194 sitting members in the reinstated House of Representatives. Both the House of Representatives and the National Assembly were dissolved on the day the interim constitution was promulgated.

One of the seven seats attributed to the National Democratic Party (RPP: Rashtriya Prajatantra Party) remained vacant as of 10 May 2007.

Information on the Constituent Assembly
The Legislative Parliament is expected to be replaced by a Constituent Assembly, comprising:
- 205 members directly elected from single-member constituencies;
- 204 members nominated by political parties based on the number of votes they receive in the election;
- 16 members nominated by the Interim Council of Ministers.
The elections to the Constituent Assembly are due to take place by mid-June 2007.
