1 - South Africa: The figures on the distribution of seats in the Upper House do not include the 36 special rotating delegates appointed on an ad hoc basis, and all percentages given are therefore calculated on the basis of the 54 permanent seats.

2 - Chile: The preliminary results of the election held on 19 November 2017 indicate that 35 women were elected to the Chamber of deputies and 6 women were elected to the Senate. The figures may change in March when the Parliament hold its first session.
