On trouvera dans des tableaux séparés des données sur les deux assemblées parlementaires régionales élues au suffrage direct ainsi que sur les moyennes régionales et mondiale respectives. Guinée : Le Parlement a été dissous suite au coup d'Etat de décembre 2008. 1 - Afrique du Sud : les chiffres concernant la répartition des sièges ne comprennent pas les 36 délégués spéciaux nommés sur une base ad hoc selon un système de rotation et tout pourcentage est donc calculé sur la base de 54 sièges permanents. 2 - Equateur : Conformément à la Constitution de 2008, le Congrès national est remplacé par une Assemblée nationale dotée de 124 sièges. Les élections à cette instance doivent avoir lieu le 26 avril 2009. Durant la période de transition, la Commission législative et de contrôle, composée des membres de l'Assemblée constituante, exerce les fonctions législatives et de contrôle. La date renvoie à la date à laquelle la Commission a tenu sa première séance. 3 - Etats-Unis d'Amérique : le total correspond aux membres de la Chambre qui ont le droit de vote. 4 - Bangladesh : 45 sièges réservés aux femmes restent à pourvoir. 5 - Koweït : Aucune candidate n'a été élue lors des élections de 2008. Deux femmes ont été nommées au gouvernement constitué de 16 ministres ayant prêté serment en juin 2008. Etant donné que les ministres siègent aussi au Parlement, on y dénombre donc deux femmes sur un total de 65 membres. 6 - Tonga : Aucune femme n'a été élue en 2008. Cependant, une femme a été nommée au Gouvernement. Les ministres siégeant également au Parlement, le Parlement compte donc une femme sur un total de 32 membres. |
