The main issues addressed by the Task Force are: prostitution; equal opportunities for men and women; gender inequality in the workplace, including unequal pay; co-education; violence against women, especially domestic violence; and the status of women in the new member states of the European Union. The Task Force has also produced reports on Bills or draft laws on the rights of the family, and on parity in public life. |
