Purpose of elections The coalition for the "Common Good of San Marino" won the elections, taking 35 of the 60 seats at stake. During the campaign, it promised to work for financial stability and consolidation of the welfare state. The coalition included the Sammarinese Christian Democratic Party (PDCS), which was the largest party in the outgoing government, and the Party of Socialists and Democrats (PSD), which was previously the largest opposition party. "Agreement for the Country ", a coalition that pledged to put the people at the centre of economic choices and social policies, followed with 12 seats.
