The Committee examines bills to ensure their conformity with the provisions of in the chapter "For the rights and fundamental freedoms" of the Constitution. The Committee reports to the Assembly in plenary session. It also scrutinises the complaints and petitions referred to the Assembly, putting them forward for solution to the competent State institutions. The Committee oversees all State institutions in the field of the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms. |
